Obama Campaign Upset Over Controversial New Clinton Ad... but Is It Really so Bad?

The Obama campaign is slamming Hillary Clinton over a new ad that brings up all sorts of hot button issues, from Pearl Harbor to Hurricane Katrina and Osama bin Laden. The ad is clearly designed to make voters think Clinton is the only candidate who can keep them safe. That said, it's nothing like LBJ's infamous "Daisy Girl Ad" where he shows a mushroom cloud. So is this new Clinton ad out of line and over the top? Or it just politics as usual in 2008? What do you think?
Dan will debate it tonight on Verdict at 9 ET.

So, when did Hillary Clinton become the tough 'war monger' president? She's got bombs going off everywhere in her ads, and is threatening to blow up Iran if it touches anyone under her 'umbrella.' Wow. Is she sure she regrets her yes vote on the war in Iraq?

This guy needs a "thicker" skin. Does he have any idea of the critism and remarks that will be made about him is he becomes the President? The ad was great...it showed the things that can unexpectly happen in the world. And that we need a decisive, intelligent and time-tested person in the highest office in the land. And right now, that is Hillary Clinton.

Clinton's are very decisive in all that they do, when they do something that they claim they had no hand in you better cover your you know what and run. The ad it self was not good it showed people how to be afraid again and I am the only person how can help you,Bush did that game already and he won on that show and now look at where we are, we need something new and fresh throw out the old and bring in the new. Obama 08

As often and as easily as Hillary Clinton has "LIED" how can any rational person even think that she will not do the same thing if she is allowed to lie and cheat her was into the presidential nomination. We have had eight years of lies and deception with George Bush. Not even an idiot would want Hillary Clinton in the White House as President of the United States and each time she opened her mouth thinking, "IS SHE TELLING THE TRUTH THIS TIME, OR ANOTHER OF HER LIES".

Speaking of lying. I am waiting for someone to ask her if there is any truth to her getting fired in 1974 for the Watergate Judiciary Committee, for "Lying" and Unethical Conduct"

"Or is it just politics as usual in 2008?" That phrase is something that Obama's campaign is trying to resonate throughout America, Americans should be sick to death of politics as usual! It is why he is attempting to convince America by way of his platform, speeches and initiatives that he is putting forth, that "we" can run Washington in a new way. You can run for the highest office in our government without stepping on your opponent in the process. I was IN LOVE with the Clintons at the beginning of the race. Bill Clinton was a man I believe (although flawed personally) from an intellectual and historic standpoint, was to be admired and respected. Hillary was a woman I also respected and early on I was torn because (as a Black woman) I would love to see a woman in office Or a Black man...both would be firsts! But the manner in which she and Bill have run her campaign, I have no respect left for either of them. If she were to win the nomination AND become our President, quite honestly I would have fear of what we would be in for, for the next four years.

Barack Obama has largely fooled the public into voting for him with all this rhetoric about railing against politics as usual. Yet look at all the Washington insiders he's got working with him and for him. Nothing's changed...he's just the newest player in an age old game.
