Is missing Caylee's mom hiding information?

Former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt: When you consider the false statements credited to Casey Anthony and the level of attention she appears to demand in contrast to demanding help finding her missing daughter, you must consider her the prime suspect in the disappearance of Caylee.

As a mom of two boys, there's no way that Casey is not involved in knowing of Caylee's whereabouts or her demise (I hate to say that, but everyday that goes by, there's less of a chance that Caylee will be found alive).

Her grandparents and her brother I am certain are suspicious about Casey and what she knows, however, they are human beings and parents and I'm sure they're in solid denial at this point. No one wants to think their child capable of murder (and the murder of her own daughter!)

It's obvious that Casey is a narcissist and a sociopath, to say the least. If she were not guilty, she would be hysterical, clawing her way to get out of jail to find her daughter.

I find her behavior disgusting -- when she was talking to her brother about taking a shower. Oh My! She sounded happy as a clam! I do hope the truth comes out and that this poor little girl is returned to her grandparents or that justice is served in this case.

What a shame that we have people like this in our society ... however, it seems more and more the case lately, or has it always been like this and we're just more privy to it with increased media coverage?

If I were the grandmother of that little girl I would go with my mother the great Grandmother and yell and scream plead and cry to the point my daughter would have to break down and tell me ,they should put that mother in a room with the two elder women and she would tell the police should monitor from outside .
they are the only ones that can draw it out of her ,and it wouldn't be police burtality it would be the elder women in the family shaming it out of her .

For a month Casey strung her mother along with tales of where Caylee was. She also fielded friend's questions with the same excuses. The child was with the nanny, babysitter's, friends, and Casey even told some people that she was with her parents. If Casey knew that the child was dead (God forbid), then she obviously knew she could never produce her. Why not then say the child was abducted by a stranger? Along the lines of a Susan Smith for instance. Is this how the mind of a pathological liar works? Does the pathological mind not recognize the difference between a lie that can be proven wrong easily and one that can't be as easily?

I think it is so obvious that the mother is involved, but why is it so obvious to us and yet it was not to anyone in the mother(Casey's) life? How did she get away with all of her excuses for so long, even her own mother(who-no doubt loves that little girl!) took a whole month before she did anything? A month may not seam long, but it is when we are talking about NO ONE in her life, seeing Caylee? not one friend, not one aunt, uncle, or grandparent? Was she that good of a manipulater, that she has hid who she really is from the people closest to her for all these years? I can understand solid denial up to a point, but the mother is already trying to say its going to be the media's fault if Caylee is not found, I think that is rediculous! How has she not seen how much the media was trying to help, as far as I saw, they were pretty light on her with the balogna her daughter was pulling and they were talking about Caylee every hour on the hour. They put out alot more effort than her daughter ever did.
Maybe if Casey acted as distraught and upset as her mother did, she would have less people questioning her sincerity. I can't imagine one mother who has followed this story, and than hasn't said something is wrong with this picture. It will be a miracle if they find Caylee, but my prayers are with her...

Many years ago, while i was working for the ABC-TV station in Denver, Co....there was a similar case to Cayle's in Boulder, Co.
I believe the mom's name was Elizabeth Manning and her daughter was missing. The Boulder Police finally put her in jail because she refused to disclose where her little girl was. As the Police Captain was leading her to her cell, he told Elizabeth, he would give her immunity if she would just tel him where she was. The Captain was convinced the little girl was alive.
She wasn't. She was dead and the mother could never be prosecuted for her murder.
Ya gotta be careful when you offer immunity.

Here's a striking example of why you don't give immunity unless you're really sure of the recipient.
Many years ago, I was working for a Denver, Co TV station. There was a similar case in nearby Boulder, Co where a little girl was missing and her mom, Elizabeth Manning (I believe that's her name) refused to say where her daughter was.
After many weeks, the frustrated Boulder Police got her remanded to jail.
As the cops were walking her to her cell, the Boulder Captain (convinced the little girl was alive somewhere....after all this was toney Boulder, Co...that saw maybe 1 homicide a year) the well-meaning Captain told Elizabeth he would give her immunity if she would just tell him where her daughter was. He was sure she was alive. She wasn't. And Elizabeth could never be tried for her murder.

Let's not kid ourselves. The mother has killed her daughter and she and her lame parents are taking their time getting over their denial issues. The mother belongs in jail and isolated until she tells the truth. What they are hoping is that the body will not be found by delaying the police investigation.

has there not been a lie detector given? OMG this Casey has to know where this child is and as a Grandmother I would NOT lie for my child to protect her if she had done this that child is was helpless why are the police not pushing more into this???????????

My opinion is that she has sold this little girl. She went on vacation, who knows where she actually went? Her family doesnt know who her friends are or who this nanny was nor where she lived. How could this little girls mom go on vacations and afford a nanny when she was unemployed? Its all food for thought I guess.
